Summary/Objective
The Project Manager will work within Construction and Development team focusing on multiple nationwide high-end retail stores and regional company offices. Build-outs include ground up and tenant improvement projects. The right candidate will have fast-paced construction project management experience, ideally for high-end retail stores, and will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction project planning and execution, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality. The Project Manager will be involved from cradle to grave of each project including design review, zoning changes, plan check approvals, architect selection and oversight, and construction completion and turnover to the retail operations team.
This position will report directly to the VP of Construction and Development and will work with the COO, operations team, design team and company President to carry out the vision.

Direct responsibility and accountability for project budget, schedule, scope, and quality for multiple projects at a time
Manage the process of selecting third parties and oversight of third parties to carry out all aspects of design review, plan check, and construction management.
Work with the company’s internal operation team to facilitate the design and construction of custom one-of-a-kind retail experiences.
Work with the Director of Design to ensure company requirements for best in class, highly customized design-build projects.
Prepare RFP’s and control the bid process of all vendors
Review and track deliverables provided from design team to ensure specs are being followed
Meet on site as needed for coordination meetings and inspections
Ensure documents (budgets, invoices, contracts, and drawings) are complete, up-to-date and stored properly
Assist in developing the design spec book and create best practices for construction
Monitor and report on progress of the projects to internal and external stakeholders
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
Monitor and negotiate change orders in conjunction with company leadership
Recommend strategy alternatives to improve schedule and budget during the construction process
Manage and ensure quality vendor relationships for company expansion
Travel (2-4 times/month is required)

Required Education and Experience
Seven or more years of project management experience with at least 5 year of retail or class A tenant improvements.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
A graduate degree or project management certification is a plus.
Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written; be computer literate and capable of using MS Office (Word, Excel, Wrike a plus).
