JOB PURPOSE

As a Product Line Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing the product creation process. You will partner with our CBD GM, Operations, and Marketing teams on the product line plan. In addition, you will be responsible for creating insightful and impactful product briefs while analyzing and understanding consumer and competitive trends in the industry. You must be able to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently, and be adaptable to change priorities and tasks as needed. We have a very fast- paced environment as we continue to grow and expand. Must be motivated, trustworthy, and a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the product creation process through key interaction with product and design/packaging
  • Coordinating with operations, development, and designers to create new ideas
  • Understand and utilize knowledge of production creation, delivery, and pricing needs of consumers to accomplish goals
  • Become the classification spokesperson at integral product creation meetings
  • Organizing ideas between cross product management teams to ensure alignment and integration at the appropriate times
  • Communicating a vision for product categories and creating your own briefing process that aligns with the appropriate SKU level to optimize productivity, margin, and revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Retail Merchandising, or a related field
  • 2 additional years' experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5 years' relevant experience in product-related roles
  • Experience with KeyNote, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Expert product management skills and understanding of the product process
  • Creativity and a passion for product
  • Strong management experience and business acumen
  • Ability to focus cross-categorically and manage multiple calendars
  • Ability to tell compelling stories through product
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to motivate, lead, negotiate and influence
