Production Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Tech provides on-site support for the production of Cultivate Holdings Inc.’s medically infused-products. The Production Tech completes tasks assigned by the Production Manager to monitor and maintain the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the production area. The Production Tech maintains quality control measures to ensure high-quality product and carries out day-to-day tasks, including preparing, measuring, mixing, baking, and packaging. The Production Tech must monitor and maintain the production facility in accordance with the State and standards set by Cultivate Holdings Inc.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Two-year degree in the culinary or related field. Two years’ experience in general production, preferably a regulated field producing for human consumption. Also, any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the following duties: Knowledge of medical cannabis law, medicinal benefits, and cooking skills. Effective time-management skills and the ability to multitask. Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or product, up to 50 lbs., for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Proficiency in Windows-based software and point of sale applications.

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Production
• Prepares and executes Company infused product line through the measuring, mixing, and processing of product in accordance with the State and standards set by Cultivate Holdings Inc.
• Ensures proper handling, packaging, labeling, and storage of all products, materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensures consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing and procedures outlined by Cultivate Holdings Inc.
• Facility Cleaning
• Performs all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility.
• Ensures that personal hygiene is acceptable under standards set by Cultivate Holdings Inc. before performing any production activities by washing hands, wearing a hairnet, changing clothes, etc.
• Completes the sanitation of all production equipment and tools, including workspace, utensils, containers, cookware, and appliances.
• Reports and Documentation
• Assists the Production Manager with the creation of batch production records and labels in accordance with the State and standards set by Cultivate Holdings Inc.
• Assists the Production Manager with the weighing, packaging, labeling, and documentation of all products, as well as tracking of batch numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
• Ensures that the appropriate information is accurate and listed clearly in accordance with the State and standards set by Cultivate Holdings Inc.
• Safety and Security
• Maintain a continuous state of alertness to ensure the highest standards of safety for fellow employees, products, and the facility.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUIRED

Assists with research, communications, or any other assigned projects/tasks.

JOB SKILLS

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Accurate data entry and record keeping. Experience with the ADP/POS system. Thorough understanding of medical cannabis policy and law. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Ability to make decisions, as necessary, with oversight when needed. Proficiency in Windows-based software and internet navigation.

JOB SCOPE

Operates with direct supervision from Production Manager. Follows established policies and procedures, contributes to the development of new concepts, policies, and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks.
