We are looking for someone with extensive experience working with Cannabis concentrates to fill the role of Production Manager. The ideal candidate has minimum of 2-3 years experience working in a Biology/Chemistry/Distillation Lab and proven experience with cannabis concentrate extraction. The ideal candidate has experience in micropipepetting, titration and similar lab techniques. Previous experience with a variety of techniques on cold ethanol extraction, VTA, Heidolph, spray vap, decarboxylation a must. This position is 8-5, Monday through Friday. Position will report directly to General Manager.
Required Work Experience/Skills/Training
- Experience in cannabis concentrates a must
- Experience working in a Lab (Biology/Chemistry/Distillation) a must
- B.S. in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Biology helpful
- Understanding of Cold Ethanol extraction helpful but not necessary
- Extensive experience with VTA, Heidolph, cold ethanol extraction, decarboxylation, spray vap
- Proper chemical handling experience and lab techniques
- Proven time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities a must
- Experience with formulations and experimentation with new and innovative products (We will ask for examples)
- Colorado MED Key Badge (Do not apply without a Key Badge)
- Experience with METRC required (We will ask for examples)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven experience creating a production schedule
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma concepts and methodologies helpful
Position Description
- Will work with General Manager and sales team to formulate production schedule and hit production numbers.
- Will manage production side of METRC, create production batches etc
- Will manage an extraction staff of 1-2
- Will coordinate with testing laboratory to ensure compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Please note: Relocation is possible within the state of Colorado and will be considered based on experience of candidate.
