Grower / Production Assistant
This Production Assistant contributes to the daily care and maintenance of our plants and helps with the necessary tasks to produce clean, potent, safe medicine for our clients. The successful candidate will possess a passion for horticulture and a desire for continuous improvement. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and grow with the Company from the ground up, and to take on increasing levels of responsibility over time.
The main responsibilities of the Production Assistant include all aspects of the daily care of the plants throughout the life cycle; monitoring environmental conditions; utilizing industry best practices to maximize production; creating nutrient mixtures; employing mechanical and biological methods to prevent failures; and maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility inside the production area.
Candidate will work with a very experienced cultivation team.
General Requirements:
- Colorado driver’s license or State ID Card
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must be approved by the MMED to receive a support badge
Work Experience Required
- Work history showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept additional projects or challenges
- 1+ year experience in horticulture, botany, or related field preferred
Required Knowledge
- Knowledge of basic computer & office equipment operations (inventory systems, word, excel, etc.)
- Math required for inventory, projections, measurements
- Biology and chemistry related to plant growth, nutrition

Physical Requirements
- Extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a distance of 100 feet
- Close visual focus required
- This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent / 2 years post-secondary education (biology or chemistry preferred)
