Description:
Responsible for assisting with facility compliance, METRC administration, and office administration within all production facilities.
Requirements:
- Must be familiar with METRC Plants functions
- Must be compliance-oriented and able to navigate inspections effectively
- Must be able to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be a self-starter and possess a strong work ethic
- Must have strong problem-solving skills to find solutions independently, and know when and who to ask for help when necessary
- Must have a sense of urgency when given tasks to complete
- Must be highly organized and able to utilize multiple organizational tools (Microsoft Office suite, G Suite, filing, etc.)
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to change
- Must possess a friendly, can-do attitude and commitment to our Silver Stem team
Duties and Responsibilities:
Compliance
- Facilitates compliance with all regulatory agencies affecting production operations (OSHA, EPA, CDA, DFD, MED, E&L, DEH, CDPHE) by conducting research and familiarizing with new and existing legislation
- Collaborates with Director of Compliance and HR to create & enforce compliance programs (training, SOPs, employee manuals, audits, risk assessment, enforcement) to address all compliance needs on the production level
- Builds an inclusive work environment that encourages ethical decision making, employee engagement, and welcomes any concerns
- Participates in educational opportunities and reading materials to expand knowledge of cannabis industry
METRC Inventory Tracking
- Ensures that all plant inventory is accurate and reconciled daily
- Builds and maintains internal inventory systems to meet needs of cultivation department
- Performs high-level METRC functions (immature plant transfers, inventory adjustments, samples for testing, room changes, growth phase changes, etc.)
- Delegates and oversees low-risk METRC transactions (data entry, spreadsheet creation, harvest log maintenance) to assistant if applicable
Office Administration
- Ensures reception coverage at key times
- Creates and maintains facility recordkeeping systems, including compliance records, training records, Google Drive, METRC, HR forms, Vendor files, etc.
- Organizes and records team meetings
- Completes new hire paperwork for new hires
- Bookkeeps all production expenses and receipts
- Orders general facility supplies and accepts deliveries and mail
