As a Product Validation Intern at Cannabistry Labs, you will be responsible for assisting with daily operations and large-scale projects in the Product Development Department. Your main focus will be to develop a shelf life and stability program for a variety of product types and then execute these plans. In addition, you will assist with consumer studies’ support programs such as panelist contact and recruitment. This position actively interacts with Product Development, Quality, Marketing, and Business Development.

Typical Duties Include:
- Organizing and maintaining panelist database
- Analysis of panelist recruitment methods for areas to improve
- Developing and executing on shelf life testing plans for a wide array of product types
- Data analysis and presentation after completed studies

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- B.S. (complete or in progress) in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of scientific method and design of experiments
- Ability to handle data analysis in quantitative and qualitative research
- High proficiency in MS Excel or R
- Interest in the cannabis industry
- Ability to self-regulate and work efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Key MED Badge, reimbursed upon hire
- Previous experience in an academic or commercial lab setting
- Previous experience in research and experimental design
