Title of Position: Licensed Pharmacist–Dispensary Manager

Franklin BioScience-Penn was awarded a state licensed permit to open and operate three medical cannabis dispensaries in the South-East Region of Pennsylvania. The Pharmacist–Dispensary Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at the retail level including staffing, training, scheduling, buying, visual merchandising, cash management, inventory management, and compliance adherence. This position requires an individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership skills, and enjoys working with patients and other members of the Team to ensure a positive culture and the best possible patient experience for our clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Hire and develop a team who are passionate about medical cannabis and the service they provide
- Lead by example through being the ultimate illustration of service, dedication, pace and energy
- Mentor, motivate, elevate and inspire the team through training and performance reviews to ensure the company’s culture and expectations are met and exceeded
- Follow established policies and procedures and execute all company programs for customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines
- Identify and develop process improvements to assist with company growth
- Maintain thoughtful store scheduling to drive revenue while controlling overhead costs
- Perform daily inventory audits and record daily and monthly category sales and ensure accuracy at all times
- Develop strong vendor relationships and monitor, manage, and maintain proper inventory levels
- Ensure accuracy for all cash handling in the front of house and back of house
- Guide patients and employees with cannabis recommendations including product selection, affects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration
- Effectively and diplomatically handle employee or customer concerns and complaints while interfacing with the Director of Retail Operations
- Report any and all issues or complaints relating to product to the Director of Retail Operations in real-time
- Work closely with the Director of Retail Operations to regularly evaluate the performance of the team, sales, products, procedures, and the company brand
Job Requirements:
- Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- 3+ years of management experience
- Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to train, coach and mentor a team of 20+
- Strong compliance and regulation attitude
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and focused
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- MS Office proficient
- Knowledge of Cannabis
- Must be flexible regarding work schedule and willing to work 5-6 days per week including evening and weekends including opening and closing shifts
- Must be willing to submit to and pass a comprehensive background check
