Job Description:

Pharmer's Market is a leading Oregon cannabis wholesale company seeking a successful salesperson with a proven track record of B2B sales to join our sales team.

You'll be responsible for sales and delivery of multiple brands within the Pharmer's Market portfolio to cannabis dispensaries in the Portland metro area and the northern coast. We are looking for someone with a proven track record for achieving sales quotas and maintaining a high level of customer service. Travel within your territory is required. Travel to and from our Salem hub is also required. We offer a base salary plus performance based bonuses.

This position requires someone who is charismatic, energetic and highly motivated, with strong lead generation abilities to become a part of a fun and dynamic team in an industry that is leading sales in the rapidly growing and newly developing cannabis marketplace.

Job Duties

  • Successfully execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue
  • Capable of self-motivation, performing in person sales by regularly visiting dispensaries according to organized schedule
  • Maintain excellent communication with the customer and laboratory to manage customer expectations
  • Develop and maintain long term relationships with dispensaries and dispensary purchasing managers
  • Maintain organized notes on sales efforts updating customer files on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with Sales Manager to update customer files and discuss progress on individual accounts
  • Maintain professional appearance in line with targeted market's culture
  • Able to maintain a constant professional demeanor with the customer, never exhibiting frustration or becoming argumentative
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on all sales activities as needed
  • Analyze market, identify viable target clients, reach decision makers, and drive closure
  • Maintain a CRM of accounts
  • Plan and manage workload and appointment schedule
  • Ensure all sales targets are met or exceeded
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, accessories, and enhancements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Competent level of computer literacy to include achieving proficiency at state regulated tracking software and the Microsoft Suite
  • Positive interesting upbeat personality
  • Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in related field
  • Minimum of 1+ years of sales experience in the Cannabis industry
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current OLCC workers permit
  • Knowledgeable about cannabis, concentrates, and infused products
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public on a daily basis
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internet
