Temescal Wellness operates legal cannabis companies that seek to expand access to consistently high-quality cannabis products. Founded in 2015 by Ted Rebholz, Temescal is privately-held and currently runs two dispensaries and a cultivation-and-manufacturing facility in New Hampshire; is building-out three dispensaries and a cultivation-and-manufacturing facility in Massachusetts; is launching its growing, processing and dispensary business in Maryland; and holds active ownership positions in two, revenue-generating cannabis product companies. General Summary:

The Patient Service Associate is responsible for the service of medical cannabis patients assisting the Management team in all facets of dispensary operations of a retail facility located in Hudson or Framingham, MA, pursuant to and in compliance with local and state laws and regulations, including 105A CMR 725 and 935 CMR 500. Temescal Wellness MA is a start-up business operating in an ever-changing regulatory landscape, and as such, the following job description may not include all necessary tasks. All employees will be expected to pitch in, as needed, to ensure the successful start-up and operation of each facility.

The Patient Service Associate position is designed to provide the individuals that we serve, across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, with a consultative buying experience that focuses on the needs, wants and aspirations of the patient. These responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Assisting qualifying patients and caregivers in obtaining their cannabis/cannabis infused or medicated products
• Ongoing training in customer service delivery
• Dispensary opening and closing to include the protection of dispensary assets by following Temescal Wellness operational policies and procedures
• Compliance with program regulations as it relates to retail operations and to the dispensing of medicated product to include the use of seed to sale software (BioTrack THC)
• Maintenance of a well-stocked and beautifully merchandised dispensary
• Uphold all standards pertaining to dispensary cleanliness and Serv-Safe for the handling of cannabis and cannabis infused products
• Consistently provide a transformative guest experience by making every effort to partner with the patient to find the best available product for their stated need.
• Maintain store security including building security and the security of all company assets to include the handling of cash and other financial instruments.

• Ability to learn and to use seed to sale POS software (BioTrack THC) in compliance with program regulations

• Ability to actively listen to patients and to assist in guiding their product choices.

• Ability to visually examine products for quality and signage/labeling accuracy

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Bend and stoop to grasp objects, bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat
• Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation

Due to the initial start-up phase of Temescal Wellness MA and the dynamic nature of the medical cannabis industry, this position may be asked to perform other functions not outlined in this job description.
