Position - Patient Service Agent

Reports to - General Manager

A Patient Service Agent is the face of both our company and the cannabis industry. The perfect candidate is a professional people-person who is eager to learn and passionate about cannabis. As a company, we believe in upward mobility and starting as a Patient Service Agent is a great way to get your foot in the door.

Patient Service Agents will provide top notch, friendly, knowledgable customer service to our medical patients and eventually recreational customers. They must be able to communicate clearly and efficiently, as they will guide each customer through their sale, maximizing their experience and helping them choose the right cannabis product for them. Patient Service Agents must be able to multi-task in a face paced, ever changing environment while ensuring that all transactions and store relations remain compliant with all local and state regulations.

General Responsibilities:

  • Check medical paperwork and proper identification thoroughly and accurately
  • Maintain 100% compliancy with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Stay up to date with all Massachusetts cannabis laws and regulations
  • Provide knowledgable, speedy, friendly service to all customers and patients
  • Continue education of our strains, products, and the industry during downtime
  • Clean store and parking lot throughout the day, ensure that each customer has the same great experience as the last
  • Perform opening duties and end of the day side work
  • Up-sell products and promote specials
  • Accurately process sales through our point of sale system and the state tracking system
  • Work individually and with a team to reach sales goals
  • Work with others to create a positive environment for our patients
  • Communicate efficiently with management and coworkers
  • Resolve customer conflict with a calm and professional demeanor
  • Handle large amounts of cash without error
  • Take direction from management and provide feedback

Requirements:

  • A passion for cannabis
  • Must be able to work 8-12 hour days, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Technologically savvy
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Previous retail experience and/or customer service experience is required
  • Previous experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment is preferred
