JOB DESCRIPTION:
Cresco Labs seeks to fill a Patient Outreach Coordinator position. The ideal candidate will be someone who will immerse themselves in each community and build relationships with the groups and individuals throughout and must have experience preferably in the healthcare marketing and outreach industry. This individual must be a self-starter, goal oriented and able to show compassion to all of our patients. The role will be based in our Chicago office but will involve frequent travelling throughout Illinois.

CORE JOB DUTIES:

  • Coordinate workshops within the support groups for patients to register as well as become certified
  • Contact support groups from conditions covered to support their efforts, conduct educational groups and supply with brochures and information
  • Outreach to all law enforcement groups, civic groups, mental health providers, treatment providers, schools, churches, hospitals, senior centers and government entities to conduct educational groups and raise awareness of the program
  • Patient application assistance
  • Manage patient and doctor inquiries surrounding the program and process including how to become a patient and for doctors, how to register and participate in the training referral follow up
  • Coordinate a network for patients, caregivers, physicians and other industry persons to collaborate efforts and maintain a streamline of up to date educational information, determine where the needs are for the patient and the doctors to enhance the success of the program and to provide information on local events surrounding the program and patient groups
  • Inspire patient confidence and create patient loyalty
  • Maintain contact with support groups and doctors as well as keep them supplied with brochures and information on the program, and upcoming events
  • Develop knowledge of various strains and their effect on debilitating medical conditions
  • Identify market gaps and guide caregivers on direction to make changes so patients achieve best quality of life
  • Coordinate panel events in communities including doctors, patients and parent advocates for the medical marijuana program
  • Become a liaison within the community to not only educate but also to enhance the community through sponsorship of events, memberships and building relationships in the community
  • Accountable for monthly goal for patient sign ups
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Compassionate and strong work ethic
  • Exceptional patient service skills; experience in health care related field a plus
  • Desire to learn about products to assist patients
  • Strong attention to detail and must have a team-player mentality
  • Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner
  • Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations, including weekends/night when applicable
