Franklin BioScience-Penn was awarded a state licensed permit to open and operate three medical cannabis dispensaries in the South-East Region of Pennsylvania. Our years of experience in the cannabis space in Colorado and Nevada prepared us for a successful launch in the PA marketplace – and we are excited to bring quality service and quality product to the deserving patients in Pennsylvania. We are looking for people to join our Team who are results driven, highly motivated, and share our values in providing comfortable, positive, and professional service to our medical marijuana patients.

We are currently looking for trust-worthy, professional, reliable, customer service driven, and team oriented individuals to either work as a Patient Consultant ( traditionally known as a bud tender) or as a Receptionist (who will check patients in before entering the medicine room). Suitable candidates for this position will understand, embrace, and embody the mission and values of Franklin BioScience. We strive to provide top-notch customer service and maintain a positive, energetic, and friendly attitude with all of our patients and co-workers. We assess the needs of each patient and provide appropriate guidance and education to successfully complete a consultative sale.

Responsibilities:

• Possess and develop a comprehensive understanding of cannabis; its various forms, its chemical composition, affects, dosing, titrations, methods of consumption, and quality metrics
• Provide educational assistance and consultations regarding medical cannabis and how it can help the 17 qualifying conditions
• Listen to a patient’s needs and make recommendations and suggestions accordingly
• Present a professional image in appearance, actions and words
• Perform new patient display case tours and take them through the new patient process
• Record transactions accurately in our POS and ensure accuracy for any and all coupon application
• Ensure accuracy with all cash handling
• Accurately report patient purchases in state dashboard
• Abide by city and state regulations at all times
• Perform daily inventory audits
• Complete daily and weekly tasks/duties
• Maintain neatness, organization, and overall cleanliness of the entire store
• Update product/special menus as needed, keep display cases accurate as product is added or depleted. Communicate with co-workers and managers of such changes

Job Requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Knowledge of basic cannabis law, medical cannabis strains, applications and methods of delivery
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Customer service oriented
• Strong compliance and regulation attitude
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Detail oriented and focused
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and Reliable
• MS Office proficient
• Must be flexible regarding work schedule to include being willing to work 5-6 days per week including evening and weekends and be willing to open and close the store
• Must be willing to submit to and pass a comprehensive background check
