We are Grassroots Vermont - one of the premier providers of medical cannabis in Vermont. Founded and operated by a local Vermont family, we pride ourselves on providing natural products made and grown here in Vermont.
Grassroots Vermont is rapidly growing and are looking to hire a patient consultant. Under the supervision of the Patient Care Manager (PCM), the patient consultant will support the PCM with all clinical and operational functions. The right candidate will help to promote a work environment that is positive, patient service-oriented and compliant within the guidelines of the state and company. The ideal candidate should be passionate about their role and have a strong willingness to help people become educated about medical cannabis. This is a hands on, roll up your sleeves position.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and greeting all visitors
- Verifying ID cards
- Ensure all intake forms and other paperwork is properly completed, filed correctly and all appropriate information is entered in BioTrack
- Confirm patient purchasing limits when booking appointment
- Provide exceptional customer service by promoting and maintaining positive customer relations
- Answer phones/taking and distributing messages
- Awareness of state of Vermont cannabis regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Support managers as requested
Experience/Skills:
- 1 – 3 years customer service experience in a retail environment
- Experience with point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & multi-task
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of medicinal cannabis preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills – Microsoft Office, POS is desirable
Requirements include:
- 21 years of age or older
- Open availability (including weekends) for flexible schedule
- Positive attitude
- Must pass state mandated background check
