Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Operate daily as both a patient and a company advocate
  • Speak with, and educate, patients over the phone and in person regarding FL’s medical marijuana program
  • Create and execute patient orders in POS/CRM and the OMMU registry
  • Maintain a patient log
  • Must be able to clearly organize and communicate patient concerns and questions back to Patient Services Manager, Director of Dispensing/Retail Operations, Delivery Manager, and other managers and executives that may require such information
  • Help maintain orders coming electronically into the corporate inbox and update POS/CRM and patient log as necessary
  • Will support physician outreach team by working with physicians over the phone and in person. This will include participating in lunch and learn events, trade shows, industry events, and visits to physician and other stakeholder offices to inform groups and professionals of medical cannabis in Florida
  • May be required to participate in door-to-door delivery transactions or help train dispensary associates in our brick and mortar locations
  • Will visit GrowHealthy brick and mortar dispensary locations to educate and promote the brand as well as interact and educate visiting patients and future clients

Skills and Knowledge

  • Desire to constantly learn and seek out new information about cannabis as a medicine and understand cannabis in general. Patient care reps will work with in-house cannabis experts to continue their cannabis education.
  • Required competency to learn, understand, and perform functionality within:
  • POS/CRM
  • FL Dept. of Health OMMU Patient Registry
  • Microsoft Office suite

Education / Background:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience would be beneficial, but not necessary
  • Must be able to pass a Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use Level 2 Background Screening
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
