Job Description: Our Cannabis Patient Centers (CPC) operate on a medical model. Vireo is committed to serving patients within the CPC as well as via home delivery. The position of home delivery/patient care coordinator encompasses components of both daily CPC Operations as well as home delivery preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Participates in our startup team as we develop policies, medications and systems
Maintains vigilance for patient medication safety
Partner with our Home Delivery department to ensure all patient orders are properly routed for timely delivery.
Responsible for properly plotting and adjusting route workloads based on designated time slot using our navigation software
Receives incoming orders, shipments and deliveries
Work with pharmacist to ensure all delivery orders are accurately and efficiently prepared
Responsible for downloading and monitoring surveillance footage from Home Delivery vehicle cameras.
Utilizes different software applications to set up patient appointments, refills, and home deliveries
Assists patients and families through the CPC process
Completes CPC operational requirements by maintaining an organized work flow; labeling of medications and inputting order entries
Responds to all patient inquiries via phone, email or other methods of communication as assigned.
Complies with state law and regulations
Participates in accurate record keeping
Adheres to infection-control standards such as hand washing
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Maintains pharmacological knowledge post training
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Help patients determine the best treatment course under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
Provides exceptional customer service to patients, potential patients, caregivers and providers
Maintains cash register and accountability for assigned drawer
Completes opening/closing procedures
Utilizes computer systems appropriately for daily operations
Performs CPC maintenance/cleaning duties as assigned.
Attends staff meetings, continuing education, training as directed
EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING:
Preferred experience in both clinical and retail settings
Demonstrated experience and impeccable interpersonal skills involved in service industry and able to apply these to a patient population with debilitating illness
Experience in record keeping preferred
Experience as a receptionist or office manager is preferred.
Experience with medication delivery is a plus
Must be at least 21 years of age
