Clifton Cannabis Law seeks an experienced full-time paralegal to join our growing firm. The newest member of our firm will provide legal support, record keeping, maintain files involving confidential and sensitive matters and prepare legal documents.
This position requires a highly organized person who can multi-task, prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a fast-paced, friendly working environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and review confidentiality, engagement, and other agreements with attorney supervision.
- Communicate with clients and government agencies
- Review and maintain all agreements entered by the company.
- Provide administrative support for attorneys
- Maintain and organize files including electronic communication
- Schedule and maintain appointment calendars
- File/upload licensing and registration materials to government agencies
Skills and Experience :
- At least two years of experience working in a law firm or legal setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals at all levels and backgrounds
- Excellent at multi-tasking and organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Dropbox
- Experience with or ability to learn Clio
- Proven ability to work independently and also collaboratively
- High level of professionalism, responsibility, and confidentiality;
