Packaging Tech

Looking for a long term employee. We are located in Banks, Oregon, about 30 minutes west of Portland. Full time position, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with weekends off. Pay starting at $13.50-$14.50 per hour. Benefits: paid 30 minute lunch breaks, health insurance after 60 days, some paid holidays off after 90 days and increased PTO after 6 months. Entry level position with opportunity to advance for competent, hard worker with good communication skills.

Who we are, Periodic Edibles is an OLCC Licensed processor specializing in Cannabis Caramels. We focus our time and energy on caramels, narrowing our focus to be truly great at what we do. We have been consistently growing and will continue to do so for the next 5-10+ years. Because of that, this position requires a growth mindset and adaptability to constant change as our processes and culture is ever evolving!

The position will be wrapping, labeling and packaging finished product for sale, while supporting cleaning and other routine kitchen tasks. The work can become monotonous and repetitive over time.

The ideal candidate will be able to maintain quality standards with that type of work and be looking for a job that provides decent pay, benefits and a low stress/ enjoyable work environment.

Packaging Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to work closely and communicate effectively with other team members
• Wrap, label and package finished product
• Wash dishes
• Sweep, Mop and other daily and weekly cleaning tasks
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Maintain quality of the final product during continuous, monotonous tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Able to meet daily quota requirements

Requirements:

• Must be able to sit or stand in one position for 8+ hours
• Must have reliable transportation (Our kitchen is located 30 miles West of Downtown Portland)
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Must have valid OLCC Worker Permit before Date of Hire
• Must have Oregon Food Handler's Permit before Date of Hire
• Background Checks will be ran on potential candidates
