Claywolf, LLC is Hiring Packaging Team Members:

Position Overview:

The Packager at Claywolf is responsible for the unitizing and organization into containers of all Claywolf, LLC product. This position either weighs, cuts and measures, seals and organizes or applies the wax stamp and finishing identification stickers to unitized extracted material. This position also requires basic data entry for tracking completed tasks as well as the ability to perform repetitive tasks with little error.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to Packaging Manager, Assistant Packaging Manager and COO

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This may not include all duties assigned)

General Duties (Not Exhaustive of all Duties)

  • Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
  • Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
  • Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
  • Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
  • Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment,
  • Remove completed or defective products or materials, in specified waste area
  • Assemble, line, and pad containers, using hand tools.
  • Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools.
  • Weigh materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Mark materials or objects for identification.
  • Move materials, equipment, or supplies.
  • Clean facilities or work areas.
  • Remove debris or damaged materials.
  • Sort materials or objects for processing or transport.

Daily Tasks: (Not Exhaustive of all Tasks)

  • Track hours through punching in and out of timecard system
  • Grammer Station - weighing and unitizing all extracted material
  • Receptacle Station - physically package material into appropriate containers
  • Wax Station - Apply proprietary wax stamp to all finished material
  • Labelling/Stickering Station - Place all required labels and stickers to packaged material
  • Track tasks on provided task sheets and turn in sheets at end of day
  • Communicating any materials issues with management
  • Maintaining a heads down, positive attitude
  • Participation in communal cleaning tasks as assigned

Collaboration

  • Keep office area tidy to maintain a functional work environment.
  • Work with team members to develop, learn, and implement new systems.

Requirements:

  • Computer: Functional on a modern, PC, Mac or tablet sufficient to enter simple data items.
  • Smartphone: Must be smartphone fluent.
  • Culture match: Support the mission and spirit of the organization and be comfortable with cannabis.
  • Relaxed demeanor and calm confidence.
  • Be patient, proactive, positive and a team player.
  • Self-starting with solid follow-through and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.
  • Must interact effectively with all levels of management and staff; internally and externally.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and pass a criminal background check.
  • High School diploma or GED required.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:

  • Valid OLCC Worker Permit.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:

Hourly compensation. Compensation is $12/hour with guaranteed pay increase after successful completion of 90-day grace period. There are no additional benefits.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work may require prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing. Requires close vision with the ability to see color and adjust focus. Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly using smart lifting techniques.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is high energy, fast paced, and, due to the nature of the current regulatory landscape, is often highly stressful. Position requires regular availability to work at all hours, however your schedule will be set with enough time to plan accordingly. This position works day, swing and night shift hours as well as occasional weekends, holidays, and events.
