Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for direct supervision and training of all team members engaged in the packaging, labeling, and data tracking of finished products.
- Monitor employees to ensure attendance and adherence to break and meal schedules. Ensure proper communication of tasks through shift changes.
- Plan and adhere to the daily packaging schedules to ensure attainments of quality and efficiency goals.
- Verify that all applicable working areask tools, processing equipment, packaging and labeling components are maintained in good working order prior to the start of each shift or batch.
- Ensure that all packaging, labeling and data reporting activities are performed with attention to strict Ilera quality and safety standards, regulatory compliance, and all other applicable legal and food safety requirments.

- Safely operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain equipment including manual, semi-automatic, and automatic liquid filing machines, capping machines, label applicators, label printers, and scales according to strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Document all packaging, labeling, and inventory activities using the state-mandated MJ Freeway seed-to-scale system.
- Produce reliable, precise data for the completion of all required batchm equipment, quality, inventory and state mandated MJ Freeway seed-to-sale documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Ilera process SOPs, work instructions and controlled document revisions.
- Manage inventory of packaging and labeling components, finished products, and other items by maintaining accurate records.
- Adhere to safe chemical handling and disposal procedures as defined by SOPs and material safety data sheets (MSDS).
- Ensure the safety of themselves and others by maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
- Report to and actively support Director of Extraction and Processing on a daily basis to ensure attainment of goals and deadlines.
- Drive productivity and cost-effective packaging processes and develop innovative plans to achieve optimaization.
- Work nights and weekends as needed to complete critical tasks.
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in Quality Control in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is preferred.
- Experience in the medical marijuana/cannabis industry is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Applicant must be at least 21 years of age
