DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads, coordinates, and directs the efforts of a team of Packaging Assistants in daily activities to meet safety and production goals.
- Coaches, develops, trains, and motivates Team Members on the standards of their positions and their performance including
- Working the assembly line weighing and filling of specialty eighths
- Assisting in joint and caviar production
- Prepping and filling of all equipment
- Overseeing packaging applications(warning labels, strain stickers, other; plus putting it into craft boxes)
- Ensuring accuracy on all packages prior to loading into shipping containers
- Completing order fulfillment in Leaflink
- Communicating with sales team on a daily and weekly basis
- Coordinating pick ups for all deliveries
- Sending out test samples every week
- Finalizing variable sticker information
- Creating manifests and overseeing all batch information and packages in METRC
- Overseeing quotas and setting weekly goals for packaging team
- Maintain cleanliness of work space and ensure sanitary protocol is meeting companies expectations
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Self motivated and can successfully run a team
- Meticulous and strong eye for detail
- Ability and desire to work as a team
- Previous work experience with trimming cannabis, weighing cannabis and/or packaging cannabis.
- Proficient in METRC
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Possess a current MED badge
- Prior experience in the cannabis industry and packaging/processing department
