Packager (Cannabis)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position is located in Evergreen, Colorado

This position is responsible for the packaging of the company product at Incredibles Extracts. In this position you will prepare the product, ensure the product is labeled compliantly and correctly and is capable of being tracked through the METRC tracking system. In order to be successful in this position, you should be comfortable working under MED and Health Code Regulations, be able to arrive on-time, and interact positively and professionally with the other packers, staff, and managers. This position is in the marijuana industry and requires a current MED badge issued by the state of Colorado to be worn at all times during a shift.

POSSIBLE JOB DUTIES

• Spends 100% of their time in packaging functions, printing labels, applying stickers etc.
• Uses time wisely.
• Follows rules and performs duties smartly.
• Works well with others on staff.
• Makes sure there is adequate inventory and par levels packaged each shift/day.
• Makes sure labels and lot codes are correctly used for each shift.
• Works with vendors.
• Attends meetings.
• Checks in and putting away orders and delivery of all supplies.
• Performs other duties as required.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess or able to obtain a MED badge from Colorado
• Is able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to follow directions and work in a fast paced environment.
• Experience in marijuana industry preferred.
• Knowledge of health code and MED regulations.
• Reliable Transportation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this job, you may frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear and occasionally required to climb stairs/ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste or smell. You must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities usually required by this job include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. You must make your supervisor aware of any allergies. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and is occasionally loud. While performing the duties of this job, you may be exposed to weather conditions prevailing at the time.

WORKING SITUATIONS

Requires some variable hours and on call response after regular business hours to meet the needs of the business. Requires some weekend, holiday and evening work for events or the ability to arrange coverage. These times include but are not limited to;Holidays, fundraisers, events, etc. Local travel for business purposes and occasional overnight travel for events, training, etc may also be required.
