Job Description:

We are a newly operational Tier II indoor OLCC licensed cultivation operation in Lowell looking for an outside sales rep with strong initial sales experience to help us fill one full-time sales position. We are a family owned producer on a beautiful farm with a tight-knit crew, focusing on cultivating high quality product for the Oregon market. We have some beautiful boutique indoor flower that needs help finding a new home! We are looking for an experienced sales rep to increase our ability to forge new business partnerships with retailers, to follow up with potential leads and facilitate ongoing sales deliveries to existing accounts, especially in the Portland market. If you have experience in the cannabis industry, that's a big plus, but not required. METRC experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Expand client base to new shops

-Create new sales opportunities through frequent calls and visits to potential leads

-Maintain records of leads and contacts and regularly follows up

-Update client information in the company contact database

-Service and maintain all accounts that you acquire, process orders, and forward to accounting

-Keep existing accounts informed of products added to our lineup, and contact leads to see if new product creates an opening on their shelves

-Generate sales reports each week and submit them to management
-Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's social media presence
-Communicate frequently and clearly to management to coordinate sales deliveries
-Utilize all systems put in place to facilitate the sales process

-Adhere to proper schedules and outlined standard operating procedures

-This position will include a large portion of time spent working remotely and on the road
-Must be able to engage with digital organization on the road with accountability tools provided

-Candidate must be independently motivated to succeed, without a manager looking over each step of the process

Compliance

-Learn all the applicable OLCC rules
-Learn our procedures for complying with the OLCC rules
-Understand product tracking and all regulatory issues involved with doing business in the cannabis industry

Minimum Qualifications:

-Over 21 years of age

-Must have a valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit (Or obtain one ASAP)
-1+ year outside sales experience

-Some cannabis knowledge and experience preferred

-Basic computer and technology skills, such as Adobe, Google, and email
-Basic proficiency with Excel and Word, and understanding of spreadsheet software
-Valid Driver's License
-Reliable transportation is a MUST
-Clean driving record

Outside Sales Representative Skills:

-Understand our farm's philosophy and be able to speak knowledgeably about who we are, what products we offer, and what sets us apart from the competition

-Learn and maintain excellent product knowledge across the product line

-Obtain current knowledge of all aspects of the cannabis industry, the competition, and the ability to communicate and drive a successful sales model

-Present yourself professionally and build relationships with cannabis retailers and processors

-Pay attention to customer preferences and requests, as well as market trends, and present this information to the company to help improve planning and customer satisfaction

-Maintain a weekly schedule to keep territory sales on track and hit sales quotas and team goals

-Visit existing clients and develop strategies for creating new sales opportunities

-Develop pipeline, identify sales leads, and convert prospects into customers

-Visit new dispensaries and schedule sales meetings with company founders/staff

-Knowledge of CRM Systems and ability to keep company contact database up to date

-Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction

-Must be willing to drive for a significant portion of the work week

Working Hours

Hours are flexible. This is a full-time position expected to work at least 40 hours per week. Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations required for working in this industry.
