Evergreen Herbal is looking for an Operations Manager to lead supply chain, production, packaging, warehousing and distribution in our 40,000 + square foot refrigerated food and beverage manufacturing facility. This position reports to the executive team. The right candidate will lead and supervise the production/warehouse/logistics portion of our business to streamline efficiencies and day to day operations consistent with sales requirements.
Key Requirements:
5+ years of production operations experience. Food or other perishable products manufacturing/packaging/distribution experience a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with accounting software
Experience with warehouse management/inventory software
Complete comprehension of cycle count procedures,KPI’s and inventory reconciliation methods
Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data
Proven record of hiring, leading, motivating and getting the most out of employees
Management experience is a must
Responsibilities:
Manage the supply chain of product from ingredients through finished goods
Oversee all aspects of production & warehouse storage, receiving, and shipping/logistics department.
Implement daily and weekly KPIs
Manage/implement inventory cycle counts and inventory control processes
Improve warehouse layout design as business expands
Oversight of employee productivity at appropriate levels
Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, coaching, and disciplining
Identify areas that need improvement
Ensure proper safety protocols are being followed, develop additional protocols
Create and implement procedures and update SOP documents giving department heads the tools to lead and train their staff
Establishing processes to attract, hire, train and motivate employees in an atmosphere of respect, high expectations and successfully meet organizational goals
