Commencement Bay is an upscale I-502 Licensed Retail Store in Fife, WA that provides safe and friendly access to recreational marijuana. Our goal is to provide customers with the highest quality product, with a knowledgeable and personable team to assist with each individual need.
We’re presently recruiting for an Operations Compliance Specialist who will:
Be responsible for managing and maintaining the compliance program for an assigned retail store , in order to ensure proper compliance with all applicable State, City and Tribal laws, ordinances, and regulations . D evelop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to promote compliance both within the company as well as to our rapidly expanding customer base. Organize and conduct daily thorough compliance audits on all cannabis related products. Work with staff to make appropriate changes to policies and procedures following internal audits.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL: Be at least 21 years of age and HAVE:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
2 years of compliance monitoring experience or risk assessment
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of compliance principles
Knowledge of applicable regulations, ability to familiarize oneself with applicable Tribal Ordinances/Regulations
Knowledge of POS systems (KORONA/GREEN BITS)
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, customers and vendors
Ability to work a FLEXIBLE work schedule may include nights and weekends
Ability to exercise independent judgment
Excellent business communication skills
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate skills in Excel and Outlook
