Job Summary

The Office Manager/Bookkeeper plays a key role in managing and organizing the company’s offices and day-to-day financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The Office Manager/Bookkeeper will reconcile monthly accounts, manage HR documents, and run company payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s accounts payable and receivables
  • Balance and maintain accuracy of general ledger
  • Prepare and process company payroll
  • Accurate and timely processing of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc
  • Controls and oversees office correspondence and manages filing systems
  • Prepares and records bank deposits
  • Comprehensive understanding of cash management
  • Obtain necessary tax forms and net terms forms from new customers
  • Implement Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Prepare, audit, and maintain Human Resources personnel records
  • Prepare and deliver our monthly financial reconciliation reports to bank
  • Work with company accountant on annual and quarterly tax returns
  • Assure corporate income tax compliance with the timely completion of all corporate income tax returns and payroll tax payments
  • Provide administrative support to management when required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks financial software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Friendly, collaborative, upbeat work style
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently, both written and oral
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in both a team environment and independently
  • Decisive and critical thinker
  • Must be able to acquire Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge prior to beginning employment
