Job Description:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for receiving, entering, and scheduling orders. In this position, you will check emails and answer phones to receive orders from sales reps and retail customers. You will use a custom ordering system to input orders and print delivery manifests and invoices. You will sort and file the invoices and manifests. You will communicate with various departments to make edits to manifests and update inventory. This position will work heavily in METRC and various other databases to enter, schedule, and update our customer orders and product inventory. detail oriented. This is a position in the marijuana industry and requires a current Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division issued badge.

POSSIBLE JOB DUTIES

  • Print and sort invoices and manifests
  • Check emails and enter orders
  • Send emails to customers and third-party couriers
  • Route drivers and couriers
  • Upload and update inventory
  • Update METRC
  • Print METRC tags and attach to orders
  • Scan received invoices and manifests into database
  • File invoices and manifests
  • Communicate with Packaging, Kitchen, and Compliance departments to make needed edits immediately
  • Ship orders in custom ordering system
  • Answer main phone lines

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate for this position is extremely detail oriented. You must have strong communication skills, able to handle multiple tasks in a short period of time, and the ability to take orders and work in a team environment. The preferred candidate will have experience with these applications:

  • Microsoft Office and Excel
  • METRC
  • GMAIL

And possess these qualifications: .

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certificate
  • Cannabis knowledge and or industry experience is helpful but not necessary
  • Organizational skills with dependable mode of transportation
  • self-motivated individuals with the ability to learn and take responsibility for their work environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear and occasionally required to climb stairs/ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities usually required by this job include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. You must make your supervisor aware of any allergies to anything. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and is occasionally loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevailing at the time.

WORKING SITUATIONS

Requires some variable hours and on call response after regular business hours to meet the needs of the business. Requires some weekend, holiday and evening work for events or the ability to arrange coverage. These times include but are not limited to; Holidays, fundraisers, events, etc. Local travel for business purposes and occasional overnight travel for events, training, etc may also be required.
