Overview
Wonderful Citrus is seeking a Nursery Grower Relations Representative for its Visailia, CA location. The Nursery Grower Relations Representative is responsible for sales support, coordination and grower relations as well as expanding the presence and sales of Wonderful Citrus Nursery products (seed, seedlings, budwood and trees). This person is expected to spend considerable amount of time outside the office environment and be the first to respond on calls for inquiries on all nursery products (seed, seedlings, budwood and trees). The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, field visits, promotion of nursery, presence at trade shows, customer service, producing reports. As needed will be requested to help with nursery inventory and other activities.

Responsibilities
Visits customers and provides technical support or assistance at moment of tree deliveries. Follows up reasonably over period of 3-6 months' post planting.
Visits prospect customers to promote nursery and assist with technical details for new plantings.
Hosts nursery tours for new and existing customers.
Services existing accounts, obtains orders by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
Calls pending orders to get them firmed up, changed or cancelled
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports and weekly work plans.
Responsible for maintaining tree, seed and seedling availability lists updated by working in conjunction with Inventory manager.
Monitors product quality upon arrival to customer
Assists in nursery inventory activities and shipping prep/coordination of all nursery products (seed, seedlings, budwood and trees) as needed.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
Ability to follow sale through to close and ensure product is delivered and payment is received
Responsible for coordinating activities to set up and participate in trade shows.
Ability to travel to attend trade shows/conferences, visit customers and perform work in other areas where company may be active.

Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel if necessary.
Ability to multi task and handle multiple projects simultaneously
GED or high school diploma.
Previous experience in citrus farming and/or citrus nursery and/or academic background, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Experience with Order Management Systems and Microsoft Office knowledge is a plus.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Comfortable making important decisions independently or with little guidance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
