Cannabis for Wellness is a medical cannabis clinic that focuses on the whole person not just the illness. Our Nurse Practitioners (NP) provide recommendations for cannabis in the state of Maryland. We have IMMEDIATE openings for Nurse Practitioners (NP) all over Maryland to assist a budding company like ours in providing excellent holistic care to patients.

We understand that knowledge is power and through it, the patient can begin the process of finding answers to their questions about their illness and treatment options. Thus we focus heavily on patient education and what cannabis heals what illnesses. The teamwork between clinicians and patients allow us to achieve the ultimate positive outcome. Our team of administrative support staff in each office is committed to the compassionate care and education of the patient.

Cannabis medicine is the fastest growing industry in the country and the patients are so grateful to be heard and taken seriously about their desire to use cannabis for their wellness.

This is a non-invasive position that doesn’t involve treating and no prescribing. Our salary is competitive with potential for substantial high earning.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement best practices within the team to support chronic disease and pain management.
• Examine and evaluate patients for the use of medical cannabis for patients who have been diagnosed with medical conditions such as Cancer, Chronic Disease, MS, Parkinson's, Hepatitis C, Glaucoma, and other conditions that are approved by the state of Maryland for the Medical Cannabis Program.

Required Experience:

Nurse Practitioners (NP) license with DEA and at least one year of practice (If you do not have a Maryland Medical Cannabis License we will complete your form and assist you to obtain one. This is needed in order to recommend.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $45.00 to $50.00 /hour
