Budtender Job Description:

We are looking for extremely professional, intelligent, organized and passionate applicants to join our Longmont dispensary team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about strains, genetics, industry trends and demonstrates the ability to uphold a high level of customer service. We value our customers and need team players who can effectively communicate to various types of people. If hired for the position, budtenders will train full time at our Thornton location before the Longmont location is open.
DUTIES:
*Provide exceptional service to each customer or patient
*Drive sales
*Retain and grow client base
*Represent Medicine Man in a positive and compliant manner
*Answer questions and provide education on marijuana products and laws
*Check and verify photo IDs for 21 and older
*Ensure product is stocked and inventoried
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
*Excellent customer service skills are a MUST
*Experience with cash handling and computer point of sale systems
*Cannabis knowledge is necessary, but a desire for continuing education is vital
*Ability to effectively explain all variations of marijuana products to customers or patients
*Knowledge of strains, weights, genetics and industry trends
REQUIREMENTS:
*Customer Service/Sales Support experience
*MED Occupational Support or Key Badge
*21 years of age or older
*Reliable transportation
*Strong communication skills and attention to detail
*Ability to stand for long periods of time
*Full Time/Open Availability/Late Hours/Weekends
