The Supervisor of Warehousing is in charge of our packaging, storage, inventory and distribution plan which includes:

  • Supervising all warehouse personnel and the warehouse area.
  • Oversight and management of shipping & receiving.
  • Responsible for packaging and labeling of all products for distribution while adhering to strict security measures.
  • Training company personnel in best practices inventory control and packaging.
  • Ensuring that all employees perform their duties in a safe environment while adhering to all governmental regulations within our industry.

We’re looking for a can-do individual who is willing to jump in wherever the business needs resources while we ramp up our NJ operations.

Oversight of the shipping and receiving function is a core job duty of the Supervisor of Warehousing. The most critical function will be to manage personnel and operate in strict compliance with all warehouse record keeping for every transaction, sale, removal, of transfer of inventory as well as shipping and receiving.

Qualifications

Our Supervisor of Warehousing must have strong organizational and management skills. The successful candidate will be a proven manager with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills with the ability to operate in a detailed and accurate manner. The Supervisor of Warehousing will add value by scrutinizing our company's operations with the goal of improving our processes across the facility.

The Supervisor of Warehousing should have a proven track record of:

  • Managing employees in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement in packaging, shipping and receiving - bilingual candidates a plus.
  • Mastering inventory control technology and possess the ability to troubleshoot database applications to positively impact results.
  • Training personnel in inventory, packaging, distribution and receipt of all products.

A candidate will have 7+ years of applicable process management with a focus on warehouse and inventory experience, preferably with managing controlled substance inventory or perishable/fungible products. A bachelors degree is preferred, and the successful candidate should be able to lift 50-pounds.
