Job Title: NectarBee Manufacturing Trainer

Division: NectarBee

Location: Corporate Office

Reports To: Director of Manufacturing

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Summary

The Manufacturing Trainer is responsible for supporting operations through training and hands-on instruction for a variety of manufacturing procedures at TGS. Additionally, the Manufacturing Trainer coordinates with department managers, leads and the Legal Team to facilitate training and ensure compliance with all state regulations and company policies. The Manufacturing Trainer reports to the Director, Manufacturing and partners with VP of Human Resources.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Operations Managers, team members, stakeholders, and franchisees to develop, implement, and facilitate manufacturing training program.
  • Work with the Legal Team to ensure that all compliance requirements are included in training materials and that training documentation meets internal compliance standards.
  • Present training materials to select audiences on-site at licensed facilities or in a classroom setting.
  • Maintain a welcoming classroom environment.
  • Coordinate the execution of training programs facilitated by outside agencies or other company personnel.
  • Gather information from a range of employees.
  • Update documentation using a variety of software including Cornerstone, Power Point.
  • Track initial training and ongoing training for compliance purposes and communicate attendance records to the Operations Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that manufacturing training records pass internal audits.
  • Create visual training materials including printed or video assets.
  • Integrate training materials into comprehensive training system.
  • Understand compliance requirements governing the business including but not limited to the following regulatory agencies: Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED), Denver Fire Department, Denver Department of Environmental Health (DDPHE), Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Denver City Zoning and Planning.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education

  • Preference given to candidates with Education or Business degrees
  • 2+ years’ experience producing and or working with cannabis extracts and edibles

Required Skills & Experience

  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language, problem-solving and reasoning skills
  • Familiarity with human resources, common employment best practices, and/or labor laws preferred
  • Previous cannabis industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities
  • High-level attention to detail, administrative skills and highly organized
  • Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision
  • Aptitude to maintain focus in an active environment and complete tasks on specific deadlines
  • Adaptability in rapidly-changing work environment
  • Must be comfortable speaking in front of a medium to large audience

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Requirements

  • Must be able to work in an office or manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise level
  • Must be able to work off-site in retail, manufacturing or production facilities with moderate to loud noise level; may require use of safety equipment or personal protective equipment, as needed
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must currently have or be able to acquire MED badge prior to beginning employment

Travel Requirements

  • Regularly requires local travel, occasionally on short notice, as needed
