Revolution Cannabis provides a wide range of the highest-quality medical cannabis products to patients throughout Illinois. Revolution Cannabis operates two licensed cultivation centers in central Illinois.
Revolution seeks to add a Security Officer in our Barry cultivation center. Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the safety and security of all assets at the assigned location according to established company standard operating procedure and post orders. Security Officers support organizational goals and culture, while remaining compliant with state/federal, and other regulatory authorities and organizations.
Job Duties Include:
- Interior foot patrols
- Exterior patrols on foot and/or in a vehicle
- Monitoring Video Surveillance System for suspicious/illegal/non-compliant activity and for various operation functions as determined
- Monitoring the Engineered Access Control system and following protocol for access to the facility and controlled areas within the facility.
- Maintaining visitor and employee logs
- Report writing post event, for operational information, and departmental documentation
- Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency personnel
- Administer CPR and First Aid measures until local EMS arrives if needed
- Weather monitoring and emergency response
- Monitoring and reporting violations of overall safety and security procedures throughout the assigned facility
Qualifications:
- Minimum age requirement 21
- High School diploma or GED required, some college education preferred
- Great attitude and ability to follow direction
- Ability to successfully pass a thorough internal and external background check including criminal history check by the State Police and FBI
- Ability to obtain a Cultivation Agent Identification Card from the IL Department of Agriculture
- Current Driver’s license and a good driving record
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to fluently read and write the English language
- Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft’s Office Suite
