We are adding a Medical Cannabis Extraction Technician who is excited to join the Revolution at our Delavan cultivation center!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with pre-processing, post-processing, extraction, formulation and packaging functions while maintaining detailed laboratory records
- Document in laboratory seed to sale inventory systems and production data systems
- Follow standard operating procedures
- Produce new product development guided by current industry trends
- Follow proper equipment use and safety policy
- Follow lab safety plan/manual and SDS manual
- Meet production goals through effective time management
- Maintain laboratory equipment and utensils in sanitary, safe, and organized manner
- Maintain and update chemical and other ingredient inventories
- Ensure that the laboratory operates compliantly at all times
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or equivalent related experience
- Experience in regulated laboratory setting preferred
- Minimum of two years' experience in various extraction methods preferred
- Knowledge of Illinois seed to sale tracking system preferred
- Full knowledge of Department of Agriculture rules on cannabis extraction preferred
- Fire safety and hazardous material safety knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization
- Must successfully pass a thorough internal and external background check including State Police and FBI criminal history check
- Must obtain a Cultivation Registration Identification Card from the IL Department of Agriculture
