MASTER GROWER
A new indoor operation in Southern Oregon is seeking a Master Grower to lead production. The initial facility consists of two (2) 5,000 square feet polycarbonate, light dep, lighted and environmentally controlled greenhouses; plus Conexes for other functions. The facility has been designed and constructed to high standards, with provisions for state-of-the-industry monitoring and automation. Plans are in motion for later expansion, as part of an engineered Master Plan.
Planning and execution to date have been to high business and technical standards, which are essential in the fiercely competitive Oregon marketplace. While short-term results are important to fund the operation, this endeavor is a long-term play. Accordingly, we are looking for long-term relationships, including that with our Master Grower who will have a strong voice in decisions and execution.
The work to date has been under the leadership of a tight-knit team, including a highly capable Master Grower. He is leaving the organization (due to health issues) on good terms. What is in place is structured, and represents a solid starting point. Planning and preparation for the first crop are well underway, and planning for subsequent crops are in preliminary stages. We plan to go to market with a unique menu.
The facility is situated on a pristine organic family-owned farm, and company values include being good stewards of the land and the environment. The bulk of the farm remains in high-quality vegetable and flower production, and long-term plans include broad goals of sustainability of the farm overall, including the Cannabis operation.
