The Marketing Manager is responsible for the coordination and execution of projects for the Management Team including: advertising, promotions, sponsorships/events, email campaigns, social media and campaign analytics. The role requires attention to detail, excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks on tight deadlines. Knowledge of social media platforms, online marketing tools and marketing campaign development and implementation processes is required. This position will report to the COO.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise management team on marketing strategies & campaigns
- Maintain eCommerce site by adding items, descriptions and images as needed
- Create marketing materials for direct mail, brochures, and social media posts
- Actively engage with social media accounts to enhance company marketing promotions by writing blogs and newsletters, and sharing relevant articles
- Participate in the development of strategies and translate the information into tactical plans, creative briefs and production timelines
- Support Business Development Activities including creating presentations, contacting clients and prospects, and participating in company business development initiatives
- Keep current and prospective customers informed and excited via communication campaigns
- Be happy stepping up to meet goals with a sense of urgency and excitement
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Experience with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word); ability to quickly adapt to new platforms
- Solid understanding and experience using social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter
- Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) familiarity
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Self-starter with a positive personality, highly energized, and creative thinker.
- Availability to work full-time at main office in Desert Hot Springs, CA 92240
- United States work authorization
Additional Desirable Experience
- Marketing experience in the Cannabis industry
- Knowledge of WordPress, HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with tools to track response rates, traffic and conversions
