What you will be doing:

The Marketing Coordinator will be supporting the marketing team with handling a wide range of product development, event management/execution, and demos/marketing related tasks. The Marketing Coordinator will be a highly resourceful multi-utility team-player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, very detail-oriented, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient.

As the Marketing Coordinator you will assist with:

General Marketing Support ( 20%):

  • Provide support to the Marketing Team, helping them achieve deadlines and goals in all marketing related aspects
  • Manage and/or assist with assigned projects where your responsibilities would include progress reports, managing deadlines, and collecting deliverables from involved parties/departments
  • Ensure that project milestones are established and accomplished. Be an extension of the Marketing team to manage projects and administrative tasks
  • Assist with managing Marketing team’s calendar, schedule, deadlines, and travel

Trade Marketing (40%):

  • Liase between Marketing team, Sales team, and dispensaries, to ensure follow through on requests
  • Support marketing custom programming with different dispensaries
  • Vetting dispensary marketing opportunities
  • Attain dispensary sales information and review internally
  • Make sure all retailer website are updated with proper Canndescent assets
  • Intermediary between in-house graphic designer and retailers to send right artwork
  • Update company website’s retailer locater list
  • Support / project management as needed

Marketing Events (40%):

  • Product sourcing and maintaining swag inventory, POS marketing
  • On-site event support, setting-up, taking down, bringing swag inventory, etc.
  • Planning/project management support for events
  • Coordinate shipments and track inventory of promotional products, samples, and POS
  • Research and maintain tradeshow/event calendar
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Agency or brand management experience preferred
  • Production background a plus
  • Excellent verbal, superior writing and report presentation skills are essential
  • Highly collaborative team player
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Can work independently with little supervision
  • Advanced PC skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
