Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Compensation Range: $15.00- $17.00 - BOE

Summary
The Marketing Assistant is primarily responsible for supporting the marketing department projects and branding strategies for The Farm, Root MMC, Hummingbird Cannabis, and other related business. This position will require teamwork to coordinate projects with the marketing team, and other departments as necessary, and at times working autonomously. This Marketing Assistant role requires more project management, organizational skills, follow-up and communication skills than creative skills. This position is part of a lean marketing team in a go-getting, make it happen, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate print publication ads, including Boulder Weekly, Boulder Magazine, Marquee, Sensi and others
- Collaborate with retail team on special promotions, sponsored events and in-store pop-up events to support the execution of the promotions & events
- Work with Compliance to ensure compliant marketing practices and assist marketing department in obtaining compliant approval for all marketing promotions and events
- Manage social media content, timelines, accounts (FB, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, etc.) and metrics in support of marketing strategy
- Conduct research regarding community & sponsored events, provide recommendations on events that could be of potential interest; present details and pricing, provide event management and support, schedule, create and run sponsorship booths, etc.
- Manage project management, loyalty and cannabis industry databases: Asana, Baker, BioTrack, Leafly, etc.
- Maintain company website (WordPress): update website photos and strain descriptions, keep blog up-to-date, ensure SEO optimization
- Assist in all Skinny Pineapple Brand Developments
- Create newsletter, maintain email list and send out newsletters to customers as needed
- Act as a liaison to other departments for information updates in various meetings and through company-wide communications

Education & Experience
- All applicants must be at least 21 years old to be considered for employment
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (preferred)
- One year of professional marketing experience (preferred)
- Minimum of one year in the cannabis industry (preferred)
- Experience using the following systems in a professional environment: Office 365, BioTrack and METRC
