POSITION DESCRIPTION

Reporting to: VP of Brand Strategy

SUMMARY

CannaRoyalty is seeking a Marketing Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Brand Strategy department. The candidate may work across many divisions, including brand strategy, marketing, sales, and manufacturing. The successful candidate must have experience handling a wide range of administrative support and be able to work well in an environment of constantly changing priorities. Cannabis industry or FMCG experience in Marketing highly preferred.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide heavy administrative support for two executives, including scheduling meetings, word processing, aggregating documents, creating PPT presentations, and ordering materials.
• Create and maintain marketing department status reports covering multiple divisions including Manufacturing, Sales, Distribution, and Customer Service.
• Help the team manage social media channels, working with our Creative Design department to develop content and perform community management.
• Assist in creation of collateral materials (brochures, flyers, multi-media) as needed.
• Process, and track all department invoices; coordinating with vendors when needed.
• Assist with event planning including travel arrangements, catering, operations and logisticsTrack and maintain various calendars for current and upcoming projects.
• Offer creative feedback on print and digital marketing assets.
• Edits content for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Assist with the development of marketing campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS degree required
• 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing department or advertising agency
• Must be able to quickly acclimate to an incredibly fast-paced environment and be able to anticipate needs.
• Proven ability to contribute to the ideation and creation of marketing campaigns and a track record of exceptional execution and attention to detail.
• Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and

Outlook).

• Attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills are of the highest importance
• Works well under pressure.
• Demonstrated graphical layout and design abilities.
• Fundamental understanding of marketing concepts.
• Strong writing and grammar skills, with the ability to summarize complex information into concise copy.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus.
