Best in Grow is looking to hire a Marketing and Client Success Manager. This is a unique role that will require you to wear many different hats (as is the nature of most startups!) Best in Grow is an early-stage tech startup based in Boulder, Colorado. We provide a full-suite of software solutions to retailers and product manufacturers in the cannabis industry.

In this role, you will be a leader on the team responsible for telling the world (and company) the story of our product. You will be expected to assist other team members in crafting messaging, developing relationships, managing accounts, managing our online presences. Additionally, you will be charged with crafting the strategy around the messaging and marketing for new launches.

The ideal candidate will be a true jack of all trades. This includes some degree of comfort (and eagerness to learn) with graphic design, web development, customer support, copywriting, and anything else you can imagine a tech startup might need! You will have a significant amount of responsibility and ownership in this role, and the right person will quickly grow and rise up within the organization (including the potential for an equity package).

Salary range: $40k-60k, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders about our product features and their benefits.
  • Create product content (e.g. sales enablement documentation, case studies, white papers, product videos, website copy, blog posts, infographics, email campaigns, to articulate the benefits of Best in Grow within Colorado and in emerging US cannabis markets.
  • Assist members of our sales team on calls with prospects when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.
  • Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage.
  • Act as a key customer success liaison with onboarded customers, ensuring continued engagement with the platform. This role will require some degree of handholding and customer support.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development departments to support our website design and content marketing (blog, social media assets, and more).
  • Help bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team
  • Scope and create templates for our business development team to be more efficient in their sales efforts
  • Manage other design needs such as presentations, signage, and trade show collateral as needed.
  • Constantly audit and optimize our web presence, managing the site through Wordpress. Optimize SEO for increased industry visibility.
  • Proactively scope and present new ideas to improve our website experience for prospects, leads, and customers.
Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
  • Past experience in digital marketing, product marketing, customer success management,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- there is a heavy amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role.
  • Proficiency in Wordpress. You will be expected to build product pages, optimize the conversion paths on those pages, and use dynamic calls-to-action to create and test buyer stage-specific calls-to-action.
  • Proficient/expert in Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a major plus.
