Job Description:

Who we are looking for:

A passionate, thoughtful and responsible individual to lead the day-to-day production of Marijuana Infused Products (edibles)

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age
  • Culinary degree is preferred but not mandatory for consideration. Commensurate experience within the F&B industry will be considered.
  • Must be able to qualify as a registered marijuana agent with the state of Massachusettsand pass a background check
  • A passion for confectionery production and cannabis is essential

Experience and Ability:

  • Experience in the cannabis industry preferred but not mandatory
  • 3-5 years of experience in a baker/confectionery production-oriented role
  • Must be qualified to handle the rigorous physical demands of a commercial kitchen
  • Frequently moves and lifts equipment and supplies in excess of 50 pounds or more

Major areas of responsibility:

  • Communicating daily production needs to Culinary Director
  • Inventory of all items on production lists
  • Creating daily production lists from set par levels and daily inventories
  • Strict adherence to policies and procedures put in place by Culinary Director
  • Cleanliness in every step of the process
  • Organization must be second nature and always a priority
  • Attention to detail: quality and consistency in production
  • Executing and enforcing compliance with DPH and Nature’s Remedy regulations
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and management team
  • Participate in ongoing and professional development as required
  • Other duties as assigned by Culinary Director
