NETA (New England Treatment Access) is seeking Full-time Marijuana Infused Products (MIP) Prep Cooks. We offer great benefits and a stable schedule. Work Monday through Friday and have your weekends off!

We are seeking individuals who are:

Hours: Monday - Friday 10am - 6:30pm

What will I do in this role?

  • Assist with the production of confections, baked goods and other infused products
  • Ensures MIP products are scaled properly and accurately at all times
  • Ensures accurate and appropriate storage for all products
  • Maintains quality control of all products
  • Executes accurate recipe formulations, adaptations or conversions consistently
  • Remains compliant with food safety and sanitation requirements
  • Assists with incoming supply orders and utilizes the FIFO inventory system for food ingredient products


Do you have these skills?

  • Ability to focus and be task oriented
  • Proficient with math and measurements at all times
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member, be organized and have extreme attention to detail

Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or equivalent required

  • Recent Culinary experience preferred

  • Serve Safe certification required within first year

  • Proficient math and measuring skills

  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment operations

  • Ability to read and interpret recipes written in English

  • Ability to work as a team member, be organized and have extreme attention to detail

  • Passionate about the importance of medical marijuana


Physical capability: Lab/prep kitchen environment. Requires the ability to stand for 8 hours per day, and requires consistent hand eye coordination and ability to handle delicate tools and instruments throughout the day. Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously. Ability to lift 30 lbs. unassisted and 50 lbs. assisted.
