Loss Prevention Specialist, Cannabis Retail
Nectar Markets is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate demonstrates discretion and efficiently utilizes available resources to complete assigned tasks. We are a fast growing, high energy and exciting company in the Cannabis retail space.
Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology, the Loss Prevention Specialist will conduct internal investigations and identify operational risk factors. While working mostly from a centralized location utilizing surveillance systems, the LPS will record and report issues to leadership.
Duties:
- Review footage and capture still images to support findings
- Investigate and analyze POS data
- Ensure Nectar compliance standards are being met
- Record and report findings to leadership
- Maintain consistent attendance per assigned schedule
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- High degree of discretion and integrity
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Analyzing data and building reports)
- Ability to utilize data to identify patterns
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy
- Ability to communicate efficiently through writing and in person
- Ability to multitask and pivot tasks on short notice
- Writing reports and presenting information to leadership
Required Experience:
- 1-2 years Loss Prevention and/or security reporting experience. (Classroom Experience is ok)
- Experience analyzing data
- Experience in high pressure situations requiring discretion.

Job Information:
- Full Time (35+ hrs/wk), Hourly
- Requires nights and weekends as scheduled
- Pay: D.O.E
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour
