Job Description:

Altus Colorado is an expanding cannabis edibles wholesale manufacturing company that is currently seeking a Logistics Associate to work in our Denver Production facility. The Logistics Associate works in the areas of order management, order preparation, production support, packaging, cleaning and organizing work stations, and operating and maintaining production equipment. They are responsible for preparing all outgoing shipments, confirming they are intact and accurate, and preparing and reviewing all shipment documentation, including METRC manifests and quickbooks invoices. The Logistics Associate also assists in all inventory related processes and provides both product-related and operational support as needed to the Production team (e.g. packaging runs).

Logistics Associate should be team-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, capable of following detailed directions, while demonstrating forethought and initiative to maintain a positive work environment and willing to assist other team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities -

Order Processing

  • Prepare outgoing sales orders using Leaflink and METRC manifesting- training will be needed and outline of process will be provided
  • Prepare outgoing infused product for distribution thru Green Parcel Service and individual sales reps
  • Be present at facility to meet Green Parcel Service for order pick ups

Packaging Support

  • Provide support on packaging of all products
  • Coordinate pre-packaging needs

Outside Logistics

  • Dropping test samples off for production team
  • PO Box to collect account receivables along with other office staff needs at the Post Office, UPS, FedEx etc.
  • Provide support to operations team on office needs, supplies, and other operational related tasks

Production

  • Setup and breakdown of production and packaging rooms
  • Responsible for cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing work stations
  • Operating and maintaining production equipment
  • Quality control, packaging, labeling, and storing of finished product
  • Loading and unloading of raw materials into automated and semi-automated equipment
  • Maintain production records according to SOPs and company guidelines
  • Ensure all ingredients and supplies are fully stocked, properly labeled, tagged and stored
  • Perform other production duties as assigned by the Production Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $13.00 to $15.00 /hour
