MCS, an exciting new company in the rapidly growing field of medicinal cannabis is starting a production plant in Boca Raton. We are looking for a lead manufacturing chemist to start up and run a state-of-the-art production facility for transdermal products.
The job: You will have line responsibility for a small automated plant with a few employees and will be tasked with converting raw materials to finished products in unit-dose packaging. As our Lead Manufacturing Chemist you will be tasked with start-up and continuing operation of all aspects of manufacturing including qc/qa, materials handling and operations. Hands on operation of complex automated equipment is part of the job.
Experience in related manufacturing operations (pharmaceutical, cosmetic or food) is an important part of your qualifications as is background training in chemistry or chemical engineering. You will need to be bonded and required to undertake specific non-disclosure obligations as conditions of your employment. This position reports directly to the CEO and is a management position.
