Job Description:

The Lead Floor Advisor is responsible for interacting with and building positive relationships with customers of The+Source Dispensary, and managing/mentoring Floor Advisors. S/he shall spend time with the customers and listen to their needs and concerns, and make appropriate recommendations about product. At the same time, the Lead Floor Advisor will mentor Floor Advisors on The+Source Dispensaries Customer Service best practices. Therefore, the Lead Floor Advisor must have a drive to help people, solid knowledge of the products available, and a strong desire to develop people. S/he must be able to explain the effects of various medicines and products and explain how each one can reduce a patient's symptoms for different ailments. The Lead Floor Advisor is expected to stay current and knowledgeable about the products offered by The Source and in the industry. Ideally, the Lead Floor Advisor will also be computer literate and able to use POS equipment and software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage retail staff, including cashiers and people working on the floor.
  • Meet financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Formulate pricing policies.
  • Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues.
  • Determine daily coupons.
  • Ensure pricing is correct.
  • Work on store displays.
  • Attend trade shows to identify new products and services.
  • Coach, counsel, recruit, train, and discipline employees.
  • Evaluate on-the-job performance.
  • Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers.
  • Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.
  • Approve contracts with vendors.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.
  • Keep up with fluctuating supply and demand.
  • Analyze operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
  • Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards.
  • Utilize information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
  • Ensure hours of operation are in compliance with local laws.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and health and safety measures.
  • Organize and distribute staff schedules.
  • Preside over staff meetings.
  • Help retail sales staff achieve sales targets.
  • Manage different departments within the store.
  • Assist patients with choosing the right products according to their aliments
  • Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
  • Participates in ongoing education and professional development as needed
  • Adheres to all Nevada Department of Health and Human Services laws
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work
  • Monitor local competitors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of medical marijuana and different cannabis products
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to handle high stress situations and a busy atmosphere
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • College degree preferred or equivalent job experience
  • Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • Retail Supervisory experience
  • Dispensary Experience Preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
