LC-MS/MS analyst

AgriScience Laboratories (ASL) is one of Colorado’s most established Marijuana Testing Facilities dedicated to accurate, affordable and timely testing. ASL is licensed and certified by the State of Colorado to assist retail marijuana establishments in maintaining compliance with testing regulations dictated by Amendment 64, as well as providing public health and safety of marijuana products to the consumer. We are currently certified with the State of Colorado for Potency/Homogeneity, Residual Solvents and Microbial testing. Colorado owned and operated, we strive to supply most test results within 2 business days or less.

We are currently looking to hire a LC-MS/MS analyst for pesticides, which requires the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and focus. This position is responsible for participating in the delivery of accurate and on-time results and interacting with clients.

Key Requirements:

• Agilent LC-MS/MS expertise is a must
• Minimum 1 year in a regulated Lab environment (EPA, FDA, another MJ, other GOVT regulated type industry),
• Preferred 3-5 years experience in analysis
• Cannabis testing experience is preferred
• BS or preferred MS in Natural Sciences
• Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Badge Capable

Key Responsibilities:

• Attention to detail a must
• Participate in chemistry laboratory testing and improve performance and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure quality data is delivered on time
• Maintain accurate and complete test records
• Maintain laboratory proficiency testing standards, accreditation, and laboratory standard procedures manual.
• Maintain sample logs on a daily basis to ensure timely testing and tracking of all samples.
• Maintain Instrument Usage and Calibration Logs based on instrument usage during the preparation and testing of samples.
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory and industry standards, trends and advancements.
