Pauley Construction is looking for Underground Construction Laborer’s in the Centennial, Colorado area. Experience working with Underground Construction is preferred. This is a full-time; FLSA Non-Exempt, benefits eligible position reporting to the crew foreman. General Laborer duties to include but not limited to:

  • Shoveling, digging, handling and operating basic construction equipment.
  • Some heavy equipment operation (license pending)
  • General equipment maintenance
  • General utility installation and repair

Position Overview:

Position available consists of general construction laborer/utility worker. Travel is required but typically within the state. To perform general utility installation, repairs, maintenance of electrical, telephone and cable systems. Work schedules are typically 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Requires heavy lifting, pulling, placing, and digging, as required by Pauley Construction, Inc.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old
  • Must be minimum of 21 years old to drive company vehicles/operate company equipment
  • Valid driver license
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with crew.
  • Be available to work overtime and emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with team.
  • Maintain good public relations (interact with the public in a courteous manner)
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools
  • 6 months or more previous industry experience preferred
  • Trencher or backhoe experience preferred
  • Boring or missile experience preferred
  • Must have strong physical endurance for hot weather conditions, repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, transferring equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Must pass company drug testing
  • Keep appropriate documentation (time cards, job cost, etc.)
