Job description:
- Perform routine analytical testing of medical cannabis and/or medical cannabis products according to procedure
- Procedures may include (not limited to) testing for microbial agents, heavy metals, residual solvents, micro toxins, terpenes, potency, & pesticide
- Maintain clean laboratory environment
- Perform sterilization and cleaning validations as needed
- Ability to learn or have some knowledge of complex analytical instruments
- Must be flexible with work schedule
- Must follow safety instructions for handling of hazardous material
- Must be fluent in English to follow and understand standard operating procedures
Contingencies:
- Must pass Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission "MMCC" and FBI background screening
- Must obtain MMCC badge
- Minimum education requirements: Associates in chemistry or related field
Instrumentation experience a big plus:
- Sciex QQQ 4500 LC-MS/MS
- Shimadzu ICP-MS, GCMS, HPLC
- Microbiology
