Laboratory Technician

Role Overview:

The Laboratory Technician will work closely with the Laboratory Operations Manager and the processing team to manufacture and package pharmaceutical-grade medical cannabis in a state-of-the-art laboratory. Responsibilities include operating laboratory equipment used to extract and purify active compounds from plant material, manage the packaging process, tracking inventory and compliance record keeping. Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in chemistry, biology, engineering or related field
• At least three years of laboratory work experience
• Experience operating and maintaining laboratory machinery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Startup experience preferred
• Strong computer skills including analytical or organizational software
• Preferably experienced with a highly regulated laboratory or GMP manufacturing environment

Responsibilities (Include, but not limited to):

• Assist Laboratory Operations Manager in all aspects of processing cannabis into concentrates, extracts, tinctures, vape cartridges and other pharmaceutical-grade cannabis medicines
• Help to maintain a clean, safe and efficient laboratory environment adhering to state compliance regulations and internal SOPs
• Manage packaging team
• Provide Laboratory Operations Manager with reports on inventory and manufacturing
